Schema Activation: Find Someone Who (20 Mins)

Task 1A

Find Someone Who

Instructions

  1. Open the link to the form
  2. Talk to as many people as you can until find a person who did, does and has done some of these things

Pre-Task #1: Matching (30 Mins)

Task 2A

Match the sentences with the different categories

Instructions

  1. Make pairs
  2. One student open the presentation and read the sentence in each slide
  3. The other student listen to the sentence and tells his/her partner what the category for the sentence is.
  4. These are the categories: 1) Education & Study (2) Health & Fitness (3) Technology & Apps (4) Career (5) Entertainment

Example of agreeing with the sentence:

When you need to listen to it again:

Example of agreeing with the sentence:

Example when you don’t know the meaning of a word

2. Prepare three comparisons (10 Mins)

  • Proton Mail respects more your privacy than Gmail.

3. Create a poll using Fast Poll, and take a screenshot of QR code for your poll.

5. When done with the preparation, give your advice to as many classmates as you can in 20 minutes and tell your classmate to answer your poll.
