ConorMcgregorConor McGregor was  born on July 14, 1988 ,  he  is an Irish mixed martial artist who is currently signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, fighting in their featherweight division. His nickname in the cage is “Notorius”

McGregor made his professional MMA debut in March 2008. Over the next two and a half years, he amassed a record of 9 wins and two losses.

In 2013 , he made his UFC debut on sweeden  getting a TKO win over Marcus Brimage. Months later  he got his second UFC win by defeating Max Holloway  in Boston Massachussets.

He remained in the sidelines for a year  because of an Injury and cameback to get his third UFC win over the TUF winner Diego Brandao in Dublin. Then Connor was slated to  fight one of the highest ranked guys of the featherweight division in Dustin Poirier  on UFC 178 in  which took place in  Las Vegas.

Connor told the media that his Poirier Fight would be an easy  fight and predicted a first round finish and that’s how the fight went down.

McGregorConnor has been a man with talent who knows how to approach the media but whose techniques come into full display inside the octagon. The UFC boss has said that Connor is one of the  biggest draw for the company.

In 2015, McGregor became the first Irish-born UFC champion after he defeated José Aldo, at UFC 194, via knockout after 13 seconds in the first round. This was the fastest victory in UFC title fight history

McGregor instead made his welterweight debut against Nate Diaz where Diaz won via submission in the second round, marking McGregor’s first defeat in the UFC

He admits that his goal is to get in , get rich and get out  which means that he enjoys being part of the show , the money he is making and he expects to reach his potential before retiring.  In general  mixed martial artists usually retire before their  40’s.
